Once level 20 is reached, Edifis will appear in the village and give you the task of traveling to Egypt and helping him build the palace. To do this, the camp at the bridge in Gaul and at the Pier in Alexandria must be removed. Then the way is free and you can take the small boat to Alexandria. On the map of Egypt, the palace under construction occupies the largest place. More information about the structure can be found on the Palace's own website. Around the palace you can find

• The tents of the five Egyptian workers
  Worker 1 is already operational. The campsite for the other four must first be bought in order to set up the tent afterwards. After that, the workers are ready for the palace construction and the fight against the Romans.
• Farm and Raw Material Storage (like in Gaul)
• Travel Pier
  this can store up to 16 stones, which can be picked up provided the camp in front of it is defeated.
• Edifis' Workshop
  goods that can only be found in Egypt can be produced here (besides Wooden Plank, Stone Block and Linen Cloth).
• Palm trees where there is a likelihood of harvesting Dates
• Papyrus fields where there is a chance to harvest Papyrus
• Stone Ruins where there is a chance of getting Rock Oil and Red Gemstone
• Desert Well
  this is not really productive as far as water is concerned and usually only provides sand. However, with a decreasing probability, Egyptian Fish, Rock Oil and, with a lot of luck, even Roman Helmets can also be found.

Asterix and Obelix can also be found in Egypt. Like Edifis, both have quest lines that can be completed one after the other. Once all quests are completed, they have no further function.

Alexandria is the only place where Papyrus, Dates, Rock Oil, Red Gemstones, and Egyptian Fish can be gathered.

When Pointandclix is ​​in Alexandria, the Friends Map cannot be accessed. He must return to Gaul to regain access to the Friends map (and Legions).
