Transport Ship

General

The basic raw materials wood, straw and stone can be sent between Gaul and Egypt with the transport ship. A maximum of 20 freight units can be shipped. However, it is possible to load different goods onto the ship.

The ship can be sent on its way empty or loaded.

Empty Ship

Transfer duration: 45 minutes. Cost of transfer: 500 sesterces. Cost to arrive immediately: 20 Roman helmets - regardless of where the ship is located.

Loaded Ship

Transfer duration: 1 Hour 30 minutes. Cost of transfer: 500 sesterces. Cost to arrive immediately: 20 Roman helmets - regardless of where the ship is located.

If a transport has started, the remaining transport time of the ship can be seen by clicking on the pier (in Egypt also click on the ship icon).

For example, once a load has been sent from Gaul to Egypt and cannot be used there because the warehouse is full, this load CANNOT be sent back to Gaul. It is then only possible to either free up space in the warehouse and transfer the goods, or throw away excess cargo. However, there is no sesterce for that.
