Chapter 1 The Tower of Londinium
Phew, so many steps! The Gauls break a sweat when the Romans lead them up the tower. Oh no! They put Funfax into another cell! Now our heroes have to come up with a plan to break out of their cell and find their friend in this big tower.
Success Fail
If only our Gauls were as strong as Obelix - they could easily break open the door. But without the powers of the magic potion, they have to come up with something else.Muscle strength isn't everything, and our heroes have proven time and time again that their keen, Gaulish minds can be just as helpful! It doesn't take long and they crack the cell lock with a toothpick! Oh dear, if only our Gauls were as strong as Obelix! A little more muscle power wouldn’t hurt since they can't manage to pick the door lock. How are they supposed to escape from the cell now?
Chapter 2 Brawl in the Tower
Breaking out of the cell was child's play, but now our Gauls have to deal with the tower guards and there are many of them! Can they take on everyone?
Success Fail
"Out of the way, Gauls coming through!" The Romans hardly have any time to react when they are already overwhelmed by the Gauls fighting their way through the tower step by step.First of all, they have to find Funfax again. Which cell could he be in? Oh dear, more guards than expected are waiting in front of the cell door! Far too many for our Gauls to overpower. Before they know what is happening to them, they find themselves locked in their cell again and the Romans put a bolt on the door! That didn't work out...
Chapter 3 Where is Funfax?
By Toutatis, who would have thought that there are so many cells in this tower? Where is Funfax? Will the Gauls find their British friend before more Roman reinforcements arrive?
Success Fail
"Funfax, where are youuuu?" The Gauls shouts echo through the tower and indeed, they get an answer! All they have to do is follow Funfax' voice and after a while, they find the cell with their British friend. Now how do they get him out of it? With so many cells, our Gauls get confused and forget which ones they have already checked. Before they find Funfax' cell, the Roman reinforcements arrive. Too bad!
Chapter 4 Key holder
Our Gauls have found Funfax' cell, but this door is not as easy to pick as the one before. Somewhere a Roman guard has to be walking around with the keys for sure! The Gauls start searching for him.
Success Fail
The Roman carrying the keys hid in a broom closet hoping that the Gauls wouldn't find him. Too bad that he shivered so much that the jingling of the keys gave him away!He voluntarily gives our heroes the set of keys if they promise not to beat him up. Although the Gauls search the entire tower, they cannot find the key holder. The tower seems to be deserted all of a sudden - all the Romans have disappeared. How do our heroes get Funfax out of his cell now?
Chapter 5 Shady cellmate
With so many keys it is not easy to figure out the right one, but after a few minutes, the Gauls find it and unlock the cell. But what's that? Funfax has a cellmate and he looks exactly like the guy they are looking for! Time to ask him a few questions...
Success Fail
The bandit turns out to be quite the stubborn fellow who refuses to be intimidated easily. However, he can't resist the typical Gaulish charm and soon our heroes persuade him to give away Anticlimax' location.Apparently, another gang of bandits captured him and is holding him in a house on Park Lane right now! Let's go! Life on the streets of Londinium is tough, so the bandit is neither intimidated nor impressed by the Gaulish charm. He refuses to tell our heroes Anticlimax' current location!By Toutatis, the bandit was the only lead the Gauls had. What should they do now?
Chapter 6 Escape from the tower
With the knowledge of Anticlimax' whereabouts, the Gauls and Funfax are on their way out of the tower, highly motivated! Every minute is precious and they press on with urgency. If only there weren't those endless steps and the stubborn Romans who just don't want to give up!
Success Fail
Our Gauls fight their way from the top of the tower down to the very bottom with ease. Most Romans jump out of the way willingly or lock themselves up in cells just to avoid the heavy slaps our heroes have in stock for them. Well, this breakout should definitely go down in British history! First, the Gauls walked up all the steps of the tower and now they have to run back down! This really drains all their stamina and when they arrive downstairs, they can only gasp for breath. Oh no! A whole bunch of Romans is waiting for them with their pila ready! Our Gauls have no choice but to surrender.
Chapter 7 To Park Lane!
On their way to Park Lane, the Gauls try to keep a low profile. They don't have the time to deal with these annoying Romans now. After all, the bandits could take Anticlimax to the Romans at any moment!
Success Fail
Sneaking past Romans undetected? Piece of cake for our Gauls! Even so, they have to resist the urge to spank some Romans on the way. With the help of Funfax, they even find a shortcut and reach Park Lane faster than expected! At first, the Gauls manage to sneak through the streets of Londinium undetected, but their luck proves to be transient. When they turn around a corner, they run into a patrol of Romans and are quickly surrounded.Although they manage to fight their way through, they have lost a lot of time in the process. They can't afford that!
Chapter 8 Park Lane
Jeez, those Britons are crazy! Our Gauls reach Park Lane, but all the houses look the same. How are they supposed to find their way around here? Thanks to Toutatis, our Gauls live in a cute little village with distinguishable houses. So, what was the house number again? XLV? Or was it LIV?
Success Fail
Despite the endless street and hundreds of identical houses, our Gauls stay focused and find the house in question without any problems! After no one answers their polite knocking on the door, they burst it open.Oh dear, what's that? Poor Anticlimax is gagged and tied up in a corner while a group of shady characters is discussing what they will do with their reward once they sold Anticlimax to the Romans! Our Gauls are dumbfounded when the door is opened by a nice old lady. Apparently, they not only mixed up the house number, no, they are also in the wrong street! They're not in Park Lane at all, but in Lark Lane! Oh dear, how embarrassing. They should have paid more attention to the street signs!
Chapter 9 Anticlimax in need!
The Gauls have finally found Anticlimax, but he is being held by a bunch of shady characters who want to sell him to the Romans. Well, that's not delightful at all! They should teach these bandits some manners!
Success Fail
Bang! Boom! Bam! Buff! Before the bandits even know what is happening, our Gauls are already pulling their ears, spanking their bums, and giving them a couple of heavy slaps! Anticlimax is saved and explains that the bandits ambushed and kidnapped him on his way back from Londinium. Thanks to Toutatis, everything is well again! Oh no, our Gauls are outnumbered! These British bandits are really cut from another cloth! Like this, our heroes don't stand a chance against them! Gleefully, the bandits set off and leave the Gauls, Anticlimax, and Funfax behind.
