General

The Centurion Punch is a tournament in which the aim is to get as many points as possible by puching centurions within a period of two weeks.

The distance of the punch is affected by the launch angle and the villager's strength. The more power used, the farther the centurion flies. The strength can still be increased by the use of permitted doping substances (Lukewarm Cervisia (+2), Wine from Durocorturum (+5), Malted Water (+10)). From a strength of 38, additional strength points no longer affect the distance. At an optimal angle of 45-50°, about 8,000 miles can be achieved.

In addition, the distance of the throw can be influenced by using other tools: stone block (approx. +800 miles), grinding stone (approx. +1,200 miles), menhir (approx. +2,000 miles). This results in a maximum distance of approx. 12,000 miles.

The farther a centurion is thrown, the more points it gets. Extra points can be scored by hitting Roman camps, of which there are 80 in total on the map. Each camp hit gives a bonus of 25 points for the throw and plus 5% for the following throws. So a maximum of 400% (80 x 5%) is possible.

It should be noted that with each throw, the equipped weapon loses one durability point. However, the durability of the shields and helmets will NOT be reduced.

You get Centurions:

  • When fighting Legions (Random, not every battle)
  • When fighting patrols (Random, not every battle)
  • When cutting down the forests (Randomly, not every time)
  • By reaching the next higher resistance level
  • As a reward after completing the tournament
(the higher the placement, the more Centurions there are)
  • As a reward for logging in every day (on the 7th, 12th and 21st of the month)
  • To be bought immediately before the punch when there are no more Centurions in stock
The crossed out texts are only valid for the outdated Flash version.
Once centurion tossing has reached a final state, there will be an update here.

Each target hit gives a cumulative 5% bonus to thrown distance. That means:

  • 1 target hit: 5% bonus to the points
  • 2 targets hit: 10% bonus to the points
  • ...
  • Hit all 80 targets: 400% bonus to points

When a target is hit, the camp display changes from a red target to a green tick. German RotGruen.jpg
If this camp is hit again, there is NO further point bonus. This is only given for newly hit targets!

Points for the throw

The points earned from throwing the Centurions break down as follows:

  • Miles thrown divided by 2
    (e.g. 2,000 miles thrown equals 1,000 points)
  • 25 extra points if a Roman camp is hit
(these points are also awarded if the camp is hit repeatedly)
  • Bonus percentage based on number of Roman camps hit * 5 on mile points plus additional points

Example:

  • 2,000 miles thrown
  • Roman camp hit
  • Bonus achieved so far: 80%

results in the following calculation:

  • 2,000 miles = 1,000 points
  • plus 25 extra points for storage = 1,025
  • 1,025 plus 80% = 1,845 points for the roll

These points are added to the total points.
