FAQs
To form a guild, the chief must pay 1,000 sesterces. Guilds can have a maximum of 16 players per guild. There are 4 ranks within a guild: chief, elder, warrior and villager.
What are guilds?
Guilds are alliances. Players who are in a guild can collect guild points together. This improves the guild level and unlocks various bonuses.
How do I join a guild?
If the village wants to join a guild, then an application must be sent to the chief of the guild. If he confirms it, then the village is immediately in the guild. It is also possible that the chief sends a request from a village. This is visible in the emails and can be confirmed directly.
But some guilds are free to enter - i.e. the Chief does not have to confirm.
How do I create a guild?
Then the logo and the name of the guild can be set. Then either wait for applications or invite other villages directly. Warning: A guild can have a maximum of 16 players. So pay attention to which villages are invited! If there are inactive players or there are too many members, then the leader or elders can remove members. A player can also leave a guild himself. This can also be done via the village on the friends map.
How does a guild work?
In a guild there is a chief who, as already mentioned, can invite and dismiss players. The chief can also increase the rank of a village: first to warrior and then to elder. A maximum of 2 players can have the rank of Elder. The elders represent the chief.
What are guild points and how can I get them?
Guild Settings
Guild Settings
The chief is the leader of the guild. He controls the guild settings.
From this interface, the chieftain can change the guild name, guild abbreviation, invitation settings, and shield. The Chieftain is the only player with access to the Guild Settings tab in each guild.
Guild Members
In this tab, each village has a small blue arrow at the end of its name line. For most villages, clicking on another player's arrow provides the option to follow that village, view them on the friends map, and send them a message. Elders have an additional option to remove players from the guild. The chief also has the ability to hand over leadership to another player and promote/demotion players.
The screen lists the village name, rank, guild XP, and when the village was last online. This in hours, days or "just online".
Guild overview
This tab shows the guild's bonuses. Plus the current progress towards reaching the next level (if the highest level has not yet been reached) and the top 3 guild XP earners for the guild.
Dissolution of a guild
Dissolving a guild will remove the guild from the game. Only the chief has this option. To disband a guild, the chief must visit his friends map and click on his village. Three buttons appear above your village: Statistics and Fun Facts, View Guild, and Dissolve Guild. Click Disband Guild and follow the instructions.
All villages in the guild are then immediately without a guild, they lose all guild level bonuses of their guild level and all previously earned guild XP are lost. Once a guild has been dissolved, there is no way to get it back. There are few reasons why a guild needs to be dissolved. If the chief no longer wants to be the leader, leadership should be handed over to another village instead of dissolving the guild.
Inactive Guild Boss
In the event that a guild boss becomes inactive, there are a few options for the guild. Someone can contact in-game support with the issue. In-game support will contact the guild boss and give him/her 14 days to respond. If the chief does not respond within this time, a named member of the guild will be promoted to chief. Alternatively, villages can join another guild or start a new one.

Romans | If you defeat the Romans victoriously, you will also get some guild points.
Legions' final reward | The final reward of the legions includes between 1 and 4 guild points depending on the strength of the legion.

The most important aspect for a person in a guild is collecting Guild XP. It is the cumulative total of each guild member's Guild XP that increases the guild level.
Guild XP is earned by fighting Romans, brawls, and as a reward at the end of each tournament.
- Strength 30 patrols give 2-4 Guild XP and 1 XP each.
- Strength 40 patrols give 5-10 Guild XP and 1 XP each.
- Strength 50 patrols give 10-15 Guild XP and 2 XP each.
- Camps give 15-25 Guild XP and 3-6 XP each.
- Legions (on first attack, not final reward) give 1 Guild XP and 1 XP each.
- Legions in the final reward give between 10 and 35 Guild XP.
- Crocodiles in Egypt give 3-6 Guild XP and 3 XP each.
- Legion final rewards give rewards based on Legion strength and health. This number is very different.
- Village Brawls give 3-4 Guild XP for a loss and a wildly fluctuating number for wins. Village Brawls also have a chance to drop additional Guild XP (and items) upon completing a Brawl that is not displayed in the ad banner.
- Sometimes the Village Well and Egyptian Oasis give Guild XP.
- The guild reward offers a large amount of guild XP depending on the league the guild ends up in, but that's only one reward every two weeks.
For daily play, winning brawls and final rewards for completing legions provide the most Guild XP.
When a player earns Guild XP, it is specific to the guild they are currently in. If he leaves the guild, his Guild XP stays with the guild he left. The guild level remains unchanged for the old guild and the player starts at 0 Guild XP when joining a new guild. Any Guild XP earned after joining a new guild goes to the new guild, not the old one.
