Chapter 1 | Smooth Passage |
On behalf of Boneywasawarriorwayayix our gaulish heroes set sails towards Corsica. A clear sky and calm ocean would make for an easy crossing if it were not for the filthy pirates roaming the Corsican coast. Soon the Gauls find themself surrounded by sabre-rattling sea men and have no other choice than to wave their fists! | |
Success | Fail |
---|---|
Splash! Splash! Splash! One by one the pirates willingly walk the plank. No one dares to mess with a Gaul after all! After this brief encounter, our gaulish heroes continue their journey to Corsica. A sinking pirate ship by sunset is an unique sight they will never forget... | Oh dear! Overwhelmed by pirates, the Gauls had to flee. Luckily they jumped into their ship’s dinghy just in time and reached the shore before the pirates could capture them. A little bit shaken they catch their breath on the beach. |
Chapter 2 | A place for the night |
Reaching the Corsican shore by midnight, our Gaulish heroes look for a safe space to set up their camp for the night. Unfortunately, the beach gets patrolled by Romans. Sneakily they make their way across the beach, always on guard to ensure not to be seen. | |
Success | Fail |
The moon shines brightly over Corsica and so our Gaulish heroes have no difficulty avoiding the Roman patrols. They seem more interested in taking a leisurely nap on the beach anyway than looking for Gaulish invaders. A good night's sleep is guaranteed! | A moonless night falls over Corsica and so our Gaulish heroes wander aimlessly through the darkness for hours until they settle down exhausted at the edge of the forest. But oh dear! A Roman patrol crosses their path and they can barely hide in a bush. So much for a good night's sleep! |
Chapter 3 | Where is Boneywasawarriorwayayix? |
The first rays of the sun tickle our Gaulish heroes on the tips of their noses. But what's that? There is no trace of Boneywasawarriorwayayix to be seen, although he wanted to meet them at dawn! So the Gauls set out to look for the fearless Corsican chief. | |
Success | Fail |
Not long and our Gaulish heroes discover footprints in the sand. Could they belong to Boneywasawarriorwayayix? But what's that? A whole band of Romans also seem to have marched in the same direction. Is the Corsican chief in trouble? | The Gauls search the beach for hours, but in vain. What initially looks like a promising trail in the sand quickly turns into a jumble of footprints. The Gauls return to their camp, stumped. |
Chapter 4 | On the trail of Boneywasawarriorwayayix |
The midday sun is already high in the sky when our Gaulish heroes meet a Roman patrol who has made themselves comfortable at the beach. The Romans are lazing around in the sun, completely unsuspecting when the Gauls sneak upon them. Do they know where Boneywasawarriorwayayix is? | |
Success | Fail |
Without much resistance, the Romans tell our Gaulish heroes that they were chasing Boneywasawarriorwayayix along the beach, but after a while, they've lost interest and have taken a break since then. After all, nobody wanted to risk having to write a report later! If our Gaulish heroes hurry up, they surely can catch up with Boneywasawarriorwayayix! | Oh dear, all Romans refuse to say a word during their lunch break, far too exhausting! Loud yawns, indistinct murmurs, and grumbling is everything that our Gaulish heroes learn from them. The deeply relaxed Romans of Corsica don't seem to be easily intimidated. |
Chapter 5 | Cries for help |
After a while, distant cries for help reach the ears of our Gaulish heroes! Do they belong to Boneywasawarriorwayayix? The Gauls quickly take to their heels and search for the person in need. | |
Success | Fail |
You can always rely on the excellent Gaulish hearing! It doesn't take the Gauls long to find the source of the cries for help. By Toutatis! The pirates from before, soaking wet and downright angry, seem to be cornering someone. Could it be Boneywasawarriorwayayix? Hurry up now! | The Gauls try in vain to follow the calls for help, but they simply cannot find the source. Oh dear, it seems like they've been walking in the wrong direction the whole time! They got a serious sunburn in the process. Ouch! |
Chapter 6 | Always trouble with the pirates |
On their search for Boneywasawarriorwayayix, the Gauls come across the well-known pirates from before and they seem to be threatening someone. Is it Boneywasawarriorwayayix? Our Gaulish heroes roll up their sleeves! Have these simple-minded pirates learned nothing from their last encounter with the Gauls? | |
Success | Fail |
Left punch, right punch! Bang! Puff! Bam! Boom! Pirates fly through the air in all directions! But it's not Boneywasawarriorwayayix they threatened. As it turns out, the pirates attacked an unsuspecting fisherman and also stole his dinghy. Can our Gaulish heroes bring it back? | Phew, the Gauls underestimated the pirates! They are not happy that their ship has been sunk and deal out heavy blows in return. A retreat is the only thing that remains for our Gaulish heroes. But what about Boneywasawarriorwayayix? |
Chapter 7 | Dinghy in need |
Not far from the coast, the Gauls discover the fisherman's dinghy. The rest of the pirates is about to sail away with the boat! But not if our Gaulish heroes have their way! They pursue immediately. | |
Success | Fail |
The Gauls plunge into the water and with an Olympic-style combination of breaststroke and back crawl they reach the dinghy in no time. "The Ga- Ga- Ga- The Gauls!" Immediately the pirates jump over the railing. The grateful fisherman reveals to our Gaulish heroes that he saw Boneywasawarriorwayayix in the direction of the cliffs at the northern end of the beach! Up, up! | The Gauls pedal with their hands and feet through the water, but the high waves won't let them move forward, and even worse, they drift farther and farther away from the dinghy! Like this, they will never reach the boat in time and the pirates escape with their prey. The poor fisherman! |
Chapter 8 | We need mussel power! |
Following the fisherman's direction, the Gauls soon reach the rocky cliffs in the north, but what's that? A huge heap of rubble piles up on the stone walls and blocks the way. Hopefully, nothing happened to Boneywasawarriorwayayix! | |
Success | Fail |
And hop! And hop! The Gauls buckle down and the pile of rubble is shrinking more and more. Suddenly, muffled shouts reach their ears. Has anyone been buried under the stones? Our Gaulish heroes clear away the rubble even faster. Lo and behold! A narrow cave entrance, which had previously been buried, appears. And what a happy surprise; Boneywasawarriorwayayix steps out of the darkness of the cave into daylight, safe and sound! | Phew! The stones seem heavier than they look. Our Gaulish heroes break a sweat and have to take a break first for a breather. If they only had a bottle of Getafix's famous magic potion! |
Chapter 9 | A fast Snack |
A relieved Boneywasawarriorwayayix tells our Gaulish heroes that he was pursued by the Romans on his way to the meeting point and therefore hid in the cave as a precaution. If it wasn't for that damn landslide! Now it's time to set off, but it is difficult to beat Romans with empty stomachs. There must be some boars somewhere ... | |
Success | Fail |
Although our Gaulish heroes cannot find a wild boar, they find a bunch of wild pigs. Satisfied, they munch their roast and Boneywasawarriorwayayix tells more about Praetor Perfidius and his insidious plans. Strengthened, they set out to teach this villain a steep lesson! | Oh dear, far and wide there are no boars to be seen! With growling stomachs and completely exhausted, the Gauls set off with Boneywasawarriorwayayix. Like this, they won't be able to teach Perfidius a lesson! |
